INFO: Official About page | Plot Wiki | Character Wiki | Asgard App
CRAU INFO:
• She’s slightly a little more existential after finding out she’s from earlier in the cast’s timeline and that she’s in for a bad time. She manages to stay cheerful and mostly the same but it’s always in the back of her mind and might make her reluctant to return no matter how bad things may get.
• While they weren’t incredibly close in canon due to their different paths, Tuuri has gotten closer to Lalli due to their circumstances in Asgard. She’s also become better friends with the rest of her cast for the most part as well as developing more friendships with people outside of the cast. And all those friendships have become less superficial and deeper thanks to spending more time with people.
• Thanks to the god presiding over her house, Honrir, she’s learned some magic - Well…One spell. And that spell is Moonbeam. The specific difference between the D&D and her actual Asgard ability is this:
• She has a Puli dog. His name is Han. Han is very smart and has the temporary goal of annoying Emil.
SAMPLES: Both from Asgard because what is TDM I just want to jump in like an idiot. Actions from Asgard || Network post from Asgard
ANYTHING ELSE?: Let’s combo break this sausage fest.
FEARS?: DYING AND/OR TURNING INTO A TROLL! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ.
REGRETS?: She regrets that when she returns home she won’t have much left to live. Also magic how do spells when not in clear and present danger?
PERSONAL INSECURITIES?: Sometimes she feels a little more inexperienced than she needs to be.
MOTIVATORS?: She cares deeply about her family and friends, moreso because of her time in Asgard.

You point to a spot you can see within 60 feet of you; a silvery beam of pale light shines down on that spot. The beam has a 5 foot radius and extends 40 feet high, and for the next five minutes, dim light fills that area. When a creature enters the area of the beam, they are engulfed in ghostly flames and burn until they can move out of the cylinder. Shapeshifters that enter the beam's light lose their assumed form and cannot shift until they leave the area. You can move the beam up to 30 feet in any direction, though the stress of doing so shortens its time limit by 1 minute for every 10 feet moved.
• She has a Puli dog. His name is Han. Han is very smart and has the temporary goal of annoying Emil.

Character Name: Tuuri Hotakainen
Canon: Stand Still Stay Silent
Canon Information:
Official About page | Plot Wiki | Character Wiki
Canon Point: Adventure 1, right before chapter 12
Age: 21
God Houses:
Choice 1: Honir: Tuuri is an adventurous soul first and foremost. In the world of Stand Still Stay Silent, being non-immune to the disease like her carries a lot of risk in terms of exploration. However, she still undertakes a dangerous journey with a barely prepared team into the Silent World for the sake of adventure. This is an impulse that she's had since she was a child - an impulse that has persisted even after years of being isolated in a remote military installation. She's the first to admit that if the opportunity to explore the Silent World hadn't come about, she would've gone on her own, regardless of how it would turn out.
Choice 2: Odin: Tuuri's role on the team is of both skald and mechanic. As a skald one of the duties she is responsible for is transcribing and cataloging the books the team retrieves from the Silent World during their journey. Her intelligence also shines through in the fact that she learned Swedish on top of her native Finnish and compulsory Icelandic during her skald training.
Personality:
Curious & Adventurous: Tuuri is incredibly curious about the world and what lies beyond her own experiences. Being insulated from childhood as a non-immune person hasn't helped and if anything has only strengthened her sense of curiosity. She has a strong sense of adventure and has dreamed of traveling beyond the shore when she lived in Saimaa and beyond the walls when she lived in Keuruu. In fact, this longing for adventure is the impetus for her signing her and Lalli up for the expedition into the Silent World, regardless of the risk to her and possible consequences of taking the journey as a non-immune person. Experiencing new things tend to get her excited, like for example when the team takes a detour to a hospital for a potential vaccine for the sickness. She also expresses her curiosity by asking a lot of questions. However, her curiosity also sometimes comes with a sense of impatience. Other times it drives her to the point of disobeying orders to stay back (Albeit on this occasion it was for a mostly good reason).
Optimistic & Cheerful: Tuuri has a bright and sunny personality. She's often the first to look on the bright side of things and maintain her sense of cheer no matter the situation. It's not that she's ignorant of things that are going on, it's just that she prefers to look to what's good in life. One example is in the extras comic for book one, where she uses the last of her savings on a very small cake. While she could be upset at what she gets for her money, she instead takes it in stride and enjoys the tiny treat, declaring it being absolutely worth it. Which isn't to say she isn't capable of being worried or unable to express any negative emotions - She visibly expresses doubts and worries when Lalli's scouting leads them to a inadvertent dead end for example - But it's not usually her emotions of choice.
Inexperienced: Having been stuck on an island and then a military base for several years as well as her non-immune status, it's easy to see where Tuuri may be lacking in terms of actual field experience. In fact, there's a certain naivety to her. This goes hand in hand with her usual boundless optimism which results in her sometimes underestimating the gravity of a given situation. There might even be a slight disconnect with her between what does happen and what her expectations are as there are certain situations in the comic where she maintains hope until it becomes dire.
Intelligent: In the world of Stand Still Stay Silent, Finns are stereotyped by others as a bit more backwoods and unsophisticated. Tuuri breaks the stereotype by not only being a mechanic, but by being a formally educated skald as well. She's the one who works as a translator for the team, with three languages under her belt - Finnish, Icelandic, and Swedish. In fact an example of her intelligence is her commenting that Swedish was easy because of it's similarity to Icelandic - despite the fact that there is some significant differences between the two languages. As a skald, she also researches and catalogs the books the team finds in the Silent World. She also has a keen interest in learning about the past.
Manipulative: While it isn't to a malicious degree, it's been pointed out by another character that Tuuri has a manipulative younger sibling streak. It's evident when she tries manipulate Reynir into coming along with her to follow Mikkel and succeeds (Though with some help). She sometimes also manipulates the situation -- blaming Reynir for their excursion to follow Mikkel despite being told to stay behind instead of taking full responsibility for the idea.
Other Personality traits:
-While a very nice person for the most part, Tuuri can express a mean streak if pushed.
-There's a tendency for her to not want to be alone as she tends to drag people along with her on her adventures, seeing as she convinced Lalli to resign with her and come along on the mission for example and doesn't seem to undertake any action alone.
-When she's frazzled, sometimes she doesn't think, resulting in careless words. She does express remorse over it and does her best to apologize.
-While she is for the most part a mature young woman, she has been shown to be occasionally childish, getting worked up about seeing horses and spending the rest of her savings on a small cake being some examples.
-She does care immensely for her older brother and her cousin, being her only family left after a yet unspecified incident. This often manifests in her worrying about their well-being as well as, at least in the case of Lalli, constantly hovering over him and almost mothering him. While she does care for Lalli as much as her brother, there is some distance between the two, as she even admits that she hasn't worked with him often and that when he's angry, she leaves him alone for months until he's no longer angry.
